My Story: From Patient to Healer

My journey with Chinese medicine didn't start in a classroom; it began with my own search for healing. At 23 years old, I was plagued by persistent, deep aching on both sides of my lower back. Initially dismissing it as simple muscle strain, I finally went for a thorough medical examination, only to receive a life-changing diagnosis: Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). I was told I would need to rely on long-term Western medications to manage the condition.

Knowing the toll that long-term medication can take on the body, I made the decision to gradually lower my dosage and explore alternative paths to healing. That is when I turned to acupuncture and moxibustion. After just a few months of consistent treatments, my body returned to a remarkably comfortable, pain-free state. This profound, firsthand recovery sparked my fascination with Chinese medicine and ignited a deep, simple commitment: to help others find that same true, lasting relief from their own physical struggles.

Driven by this passion, I formally began my academic journey in Chinese medicine in 2017. After two years of rigorous foundational study, I stepped into my clinical internships in 2019, learning to listen not just to symptoms, but to the unique stories behind every patient. In 2021, I proudly earned my California Acupuncture License and Master’s degree, stepping straight into full-time clinical practice. Through years of experience, I developed my core strengths in advanced clinical acupuncture, targeted pain relief, and holistic wellness optimization. Having been a patient myself, my true passion lies in creating a deeply warm, supportive, and restorative space—one where patients feel truly heard, empowered, and meticulously cared for.

However, parallel to my clinical career, my most profound transformation arrived in 2024 when my wife and I welcomed our beautiful daughter, Joy. For the past two years, I chose to step into our home as a full-time, hands-on parent. Navigating the beautiful yet demanding journey of caring for a growing toddler taught me a completely new level of deep patience, acute observation, and gentle care—profound qualities that are essential to true healing, yet rarely taught in medical schools.

Today, while I continue to cherish raising Joy, my passion for medicine burns brighter than ever. I am bringing premium, targeted concierge care directly to the safety and comfort of your home. As a parent, I know firsthand the physical and emotional tolls of pregnancy and postpartum. Whether you are seeking prenatal breech baby flipping, morning sickness relief, deep postpartum recovery, or gentle pain relief, I understand your needs perfectly.

To ensure my patients receive the highest possible standard of medical care, I constantly advanced my clinical education, culminating in my Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree from Emperor's College in 2025—the highest clinical designation in our field. I am honored to combine this advanced doctorate expertise with the profound patience and gentle touch of a parent to help you heal—one mindful, compassionate step at a time.
